Why Choose Serendipity Farms?
There are a lot of beautiful barn wedding venues out there. Many of them have indoor bathrooms and running water. A few of them even have central air conditioning and heat, like our barn does. But what sets our venue apart is:
- The 30 plus years that the owners (Kendra & Dean Titus) have been in the wedding industry exceeding the expectations of their customers!
- All of our weddings have a facilities manager on site during your entire event.
- We also include a "day of" wedding coordinator to help the bride and groom with any last minute details, like putting on Boutineers and making sure the wedding party is lined up and the wedding goes off on time.
- If you are serving spirits we also include bar tenders to help the reception "flow" smoothly.
A serendipitoius journey: Dean & Kendra Titus
When we started out over thirty years ago, we never thought we'd wind up here: owners of an in-demand wedding venue in the heart of Amish country. We were simply two kids following our passions: photography, music, weddings, and ultimately, love itself. We nurtured these aspirations over the years by working in the wedding industry and they grew into something else entirely. All of these happy little twists and turns led us to our most exciting endeavor yet: a parcel of land in Blanchard, MI.
"Wouldn't it be great," we thought "to use this land to build our own wedding venue?" We drew on all of our experiences: those countless weddings we've worked, the ones we attended, the one we experienced ourselves, all of the bridal shows we've been to, everything we saw go right, everything we saw go wrong... we took all of that experience and used it to build Serendipity Farms.
Hosting is all about instinct, details, and a unique ability to make people feel at home, even when they’re not. We developed Serendipity Farms inside and out with that in mind. Let us tend to the details. You simply have to show up, take in the relaxed atmosphere and begin to feel at home.

We hosted our very first event at the barn in July 2017: we renewed our vows. Although we felt as though we started with a strong and sturdy foundation, we continue to build on what we have. We learn from each couple and every event, then continue to improve the experience for everyone thereafter. We have ideas, goals, and dreams that have been turned into reality onsite, but a wealth of more to come. It’s become our passion to provide an affordable, accessible venue that is nothing short of breathtaking.
